No more bloated and inconsequential lists please

Why oh why do people make lists like this, it seems like our dear Reinhold just had to cram 40 things in there.

    Should I profess my undying love for this post? haha! This is a GREAT! When a friend had sent me the link to "40 signs that you're a lousy PHP coder"... I laughed at the same points you brought up.

    I'm an advocate for making things as readable as possible, especially in PHP since it can get ridiculous quick. Most of the points in "lists" for being a good/bad software developer come down to the same age old fact of: learn the fundamentals and you'll have more relevant lists.
